Dr. Perkins was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University where he received his pre-med Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and Human Nutrition. Following his passion for helping people avoid unnecessary drugs and surgeries, he continued his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. There, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic and has been freeing people from pain naturally since 2011. Dr. Perkins completed additional post Doctorate certification at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh School of Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy, earning his certification as a Primary Spine Practitioner. This places his training at the forefront of best practice in conservative evaluation and treatment of spine related conditions.
Dr. Perkins believes in an integrated approach utilizing the best equipment technology, nutritional intervention, and specialized physical and Chiropractic therapies to alleviate people from pain naturally. His area of expertise in practice focuses on helping people suffering from acute and chronic disc herniations, bulges, and degenerative arthritis. Additionally, he focuses on chronic knee problems and peripheral neuropathy. He utilizes Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression, MLS Robotic Laser Therapy, Knee on Trac knee traction, and Nutritional Intervention to alleviate and manage these debilitating conditions.
Youngstown Spine & Disc has performed over 20,000 Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression treatments with over an 80% success rate in patient outcomes, including pain reduction and lasting functional improvement.

Dr. Ruscitti, a near life-long resident of the Youngstown, Ohio area attended both Ohio State and Youngstown State Universities for his undergraduate studies. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Ruscitti then completed his chiropractic education at The National College of Chiropractic, located in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated in 1987.
In 2006, Dr. Ruscitti began performing spinal decompression treatment and soon realized the incredible success that spinal decompression provided for patients with disc herniation, disc bulges, disc degeneration, facet syndrome and sciatica. Dr. Ruscitti traveled to Dallas Texas in 2013 and received national certification in spinal decompression. He has now performed well over 15,000 spinal decompression treatments to date. Dr. Ruscitti is also proficient in Sports Medicine, nutrition/weight loss and laboratory interpretation. He has been able to help many patients with a variety of health conditions using his medical nutritional counseling service.
